What do I do if I find a bee’s nest?
Give us a call and we can direct you to the right people that will remove the bees nest at no charge. We don’t kill bees, we save them!
How can I tell the difference between a wasp and a bee?
Honey bees are hairy, while wasps usually have smooth shiny skin. Wasps are narrow-waisted, have 4 wings and are brightly coloured with black and yellow patterns.
How long does it usually take for the nest to die?
A standard size wasps nest can die off in around 4-5 days after treatment.
What can you expect to see after the nest has been treated?
Immediately after the powder is applied, there’s a lot of activity around the nest entry but this will settle down after about 30 minutes, so it’s important to keep windows and doors closed if it’s close to the house.
What do you do to get rid of the nest?
We apply a powder to the entry hole of the nest and the wasp carries the powder through the nest and this kills the nest from the inside out. Sometimes depending on the size of the nest, it may need 2 treatments. 99% of the time one treatment can take care of this.

Why don’t we see a lot of wasps during the winter?
Most of the worker wasps die off with the frosts. But the Queen hibernates through winter and this is why some people see wasps in their wood piles and roof cavities.
